An Ipsos research project commissioned by DfE to understand how adult and community learning courses can help people manage and recover from mild to moderate mental health problems, such as anxiety and depression.

This report evaluates phase 2 of the community learning mental health research project, which started in 2016.
The report looks at 52 adult learning providers. It examines the potential for this learning to support individuals with mild to moderate mental health problems and includes:
- surveys with learners before, during and after their course
- depth interviews with learners 6 to 9 months after their course
