L&W carried out an independent evaluation of Youth Employment Service North East (YESNE) programme on behalf of the Youth Futures Foundation (YFF). The programme was designed to support neurodiverse people aged between 18 and 24 living in Tyne and Wear to move into, or further towards, employment and education. The evaluation explored how best to support the target group into employment, education or volunteering/work experience. The report highlights the need for future programmes to engage and recruit eligible participants on a larger scale; and the importance of developing strong links with employers to build pathways to employment.
